Wagamons tournament report 3/30

We had our first official club tournament of the year at Wagamons pond in Milton on Sunday, March 30th.  Tournament start time was 6:50 a.m. and lasted until 1 p.m.  The weather was not looking to be on our side as it was pouring as we all loaded into the parking lot to unload.  However, the rain gave way and the wind was not too bad and we had a good 4 hours of pretty good weather considering.  The last 2 hours were a different story with rain and cold, heavy gusts of wind.  Air and water temps were in the low 50's.  Fishing was pretty tough yet most people were able to weigh a fish or two in, but two teams were able to bring a limit to the scales.  Jeremy and Terrance managed to take the win with a limit of fish good for 11.33 lbs.  They also took lunker with a 4.22 lb bass.  They caught their fish on soft plastics.  Coming in 2nd place was the team of Jack and Jeremy.  They managed a good limit of fish good for 5.55 lbs.  They caught their bass on a mixture of reaction baits.  3rd place goes to the team of Roy and J.R.  They had just 2 fish to weigh in, but they were 2 good ones.  Their fish weighed in 4.38 lbs.  Congrats to the winning teams.  Our next tournament will be held at Lum's Pond on April 13th from 6:00-1:00.
